1) What's with Jaggers' compulsive handwashing?
2) The incident with Molly the maid is very strange indeed. What information can we draw from what Jaggers does, and how both he and Molly react to it?
3) Drummle is a fairly nasty character. What is it about him that Jaggers seems to like even though he tells Pip not "to have too much to do with him".
I decided to reread a few chapters to get a better understanding if the story (and make a couple more blog posts on things I found interesting but never actually had posted.)
ReplyDeleteThe final paragraph of the chapter says "In about a months time after that, the spiders time with Mr.Pocket was up for good, and, to the great relief of all the house but Mrs.Pocket, he went home to the family hole."
Did...did he just die?
No, he couldn't have, as Drummle appears afterwards.
